PSP - IRSHELL Question

How do I get codes for LG and/or GoldStar (same thing really)? I downloaded the 2000 extra codes, and still nothing anyone know? I googled, but I cant find anything.

www.remotecentral.com is a good place to start. Also, search the internet, some models are the same as others and you can simply use the other codes.

why dont you make a rdf file from existing codes,It will take time but in the end you will survive.
Any irshell questions,I am up for the challenge,been using irshell for 2 years already i think

I am a noob dablakmark8 - as you know from my more than noobish questions about PSP's But, where would I get the codes for an lg/goldstar tv and how would I put it in an rdf file?

you are not leeching,we all help one another on this forum.You have already joined myadsl and that is a good thing.
ok you want to make a remote of your tv right.ok there are a cool way to do this but you must have a palm top with irda port,use a software program for ir for palmtop.place your tv remote infront of the palms ir and push all the buttons on at a time.
then the palm will recoord all the codes/then take the palm plug into a pc and download the codes to a file and convert to rdf,and you have your ir for the tv.
I am a bit rusty with this but seach the forum on www.irshell.com for the program,but remember the forum is closed down so you cannot post anthing.just go to technical part of the forum.
If you dont come write then i will try to make one work for your tv...only as alast resort ok

try and get hold of an IR receiver ....
you can get some tool that will read the signals form the IR receiver as you operate your source remote into the IR receiver .....

lol, thanks guys I have an HTC 8300 with windows mobile on it. It has IR, so I will try that. If that fails I will try find an IR receiver. Thanks for the help guys

About the last resort, no worries, its not that important, I have remotes, its just nice to mess around with new hardware Thanks though.

I will let you guys know, I will probably try this on the weekend, cos I will at least have time to spare then.
