Hey all,

Just wondering if anyone knows where I can get my hands on a PSP LCD screen, mine's a bit very broken at the moment *sob*... I tried to get Ster-Kinekor's repair agents to replace it, but it's grey, so they told me to go away!!

Please Help...AnyBodY!!!!!

get another grey import...

sorry for being rude but heck thats the price you pay for getting grey. ;)

another grey will see me 4 grand down, much rather just try to replace the lcd... u can get them on ebay, but thats a bit of a mission.

i wouldnt have bought a grey one if i knew my maid was gonna turn it into a projectile off of my desk and into the wall....

ouch... 4K!!!

when my maid is at home i take the PSP with... like you said, you never know what they think of it... sorry but i think you will have to find somebody from overseas to send you the screen... :(

what is grey i mean did you not buy it here in s.a

i think 4K for a grey isnt really a saving..

Lol. And that gentlemen is the nature of grey imports, it's the risk you take.

I've been there and been burned, now unless I'm prepared for the risk (or the product has an international warranty) I'll buy local thanks.

EDIT: Hi-Fi Corp stuff is often grey, but they do their own support.

Hmm, maybe they'll fix your grey PSP for a fee?

didnt buy it from another country, got it from an importer here in jozi.

its not much of a saving now, but i bought it a while back when they first released, so it was quite a saving then.

Looks like im gonna have to try and get one on ebay, theyre like 50 US$.

But still, if anyone knows where i can get one locally, do tell!

lol one thing ive learned is buy where you get a gaurantee

like chop who plays bf 2 bought a 6800 gt for a decent price went bang 6 months later so there goes your cheap card

for a little extra you will end up saving alot i think

but i guess the horse has bolted on this one hehe

but for me i wouldnt spend 2g's on a psp hmmm a sound card would be a better or more ram or a new board and cpu but thats me i guess

Going slightly off topic....

Where are you guys buying your games? So far digitalplanet.co.za seems to be the cheapest place so far for me with prices at about R320 per game....

i get my games at animeworx at brightwater commons @ R330 for most games, some imports ( Zone 1 ) are @ R370.
