My PSU popped recently and I had to buy myself a new one, but now my new PSU doesn't have the 2-PIN connector that is used to power up the touch panel on my PC case's front panel.

Are PSU's with this 2-PIN connector scarce, aren't they supposed to come standard with all PSU's?

Can you post a pic of the 2-pin PSU connector and case from panel? Is it similar to a 4-pin molex to 2/3-pin, like a fan connector?

Yeah, that doesn't help seeing as they make more than one case.
You sure you didn't miss an adapter?

Yip. There's no way that connector can be plugged into the MB without forcing it into some other connector.

And that connector leads directly off the PSU? Wierd.

You could cut it off the loom of the old PSU along with a female molex connector. Strip the wires a bit, twist them together properly (preferably solder them) and tape it up. Then just plug it into one of the molex connectors on the new PSU. Try and see if it's 5V or 12V first.

I assume the PSU in the Aeromax comes with the case. Hate custom nonsense like this.

Yes.

Nope, was another cheap PSU I bought off the internet, I was just lucky it had that connector that matched the case.

I assume just plugging the red and black wires from this 2-pin connector into the corresponding red and black holes on the molex connector will work?
I'm not going to test it till I'm sure, I don't wanna blow up my pc

And the 2-pin connector didn't come out of the PSU, it came out of this connector which was attached to the PSU.
I was just too lazy (or stupid) to loosen the elastic band and make sure
