I have an Antec 1200 case. I fancy an Antec PSU because the reviews are good. Would it be better to buy the extra large CP-850 or the TP-750. They seem to be the same price. I guess I would have to sell the case and PSU together if I upgrade.

I'm also concerned about cable length for the case.

What's your PC specs?

Those PSU's are quite expensive and overkill for single GPU configurations.

It will be a i5 2500k and I want some future proofing for gaming. There's some fancy stuff coming and I don't want to do the buying thing again.

Ok but wait, are you just wanting the Antec PSU cause you have an Antec case (thats how the title reads). Cause all PSUs will fit in all cases with the exception of the really big PSUs (1000W+)

Double reasoning. The Antecs are quality and there is one that fits the case precisely.... Cable length etc. The only thing it will only fit a handful of cases (new standard)

I would get a normal PSU tbh, if for some reason you get another case you can move everything over without worrying about the psu. And yes Antec does make good quality psu's but they are not the only ones, take a look at corsair their quality is top notch too :)

Just get a decent PSU (from Seasonic/Antec/Coolermaster/Corsair) and buy an 8-pin CPU cable extension (~R40).

You really don't need to spend a fortune on a PSU that you won't need. Future proofing is stupidly expensive.

Did I mention that it's modular - or semi at least.

I'm trying to make the build as painfree as possible. I don't want a noisy wind-tunnel either. The best PSUs operate quietly.
