Okay heres the story im getting a pretty good graphics card 9600GT for Christmas and Birthday combined (my 8400GS is getting old). Problem is my PSU is a 350W and the graphics card says a minimum of 400W. Will it be okay.
But now theres another problem my PSU doesn't have the 6 pin connector :( and im not sure if my PSU will even be able to run the card. If not im going to have to save for quite a long time with this graphics card just sitting there. And by the time ive saved enough the card will be old. :(

hmm, what else do you have on that 350W? Don't forget that PSU's aren't that pricy hey ;)

U can get a 600W isonic for R570.
Well 2 things can happen it will shutdown while u running a game or it will just not start up.
Plug out your fan if u can just keep your case open, run only your basic things from it.
I got a connector where 2 standard molec connectors converts into a 1 6pin pci-e power cable.

Think the recommended amperage on the 12v rail is 26A or something, so your 16A might just be too low. Best way is to get it and try it out, if it works then sweet, but if it doesn't you'll have to get another psu. As Mephisto said, you can get a psu for pretty cheap nowadays :)

Yeah I brought a superchannel 500w for R288 from Zaps for my bro.

It seems pretty decent so far...overvoltage protection and all.
