PSU problems.....

I dunno silver i have found it is better to spend and buy a big PSU because down the road it will save you money. If i had done this when i paid 1 for my antec i would not have to spend 1.4k again for a bigger psu.

Look, with the new cards and everything getting more power efficient bigger and bigger Psu's are not that neccesary, You can run a GTX 275 on a 350W (not advisable but it can be done)
a decent 500w psu with a good amp rating will be fine for his current machine.

Buy a Seasonic 750W (they are the company that makes corsair PSUs, which are exactly the same) and true 750W should be enough for most systems.

Agreed. For his current system though, the VX450 will be fine. A 750W psu for his current rig is just overkill.

For R900 you can get a Corsair VX550, that's more future proof. (Personally i'd just add R400 or so more and get a HX620W, that will last you a good couple 'o upgrades)

Ya for my rig my 500w was also fine but 1 and half years later i upgraded it.

I have learnt one thing, always buy a bigger psu upfront if you can afford to. It would have saved me 1k. I bought a 750 corsair now with a 5 year warranty which means for the next 3-5 years i will be good. Sometimes buying cheaper works out expensive download the line.
