hello
this is my future pc:
AMD Phenom II x6 1055T
Gtx260 or gtx460
4gb Corasair DDR3 ram
GIGABYTE 890GPA-UD3H
4 x 7200RPM SATA HDDs
2 x Samsung DVD writers

abit of neon and lights.

will a 650w Coolermaster PCAR be enough in terms of watts and amps?
thx

Its fairly accurate, I have found it slightly exaggerates in fact. But if you dont like it then GIYF.
But lets disect the result shall we?
Minimun required is 529W as reported by the site, used 2 cold cathodes and a GTX465 (they dont have the 460 up yet)
CPU = 125W
GPU = 200W iirc
Mobo = +-75W
HDD = 10W max (x4)
DVD = 10W max (x2)
Cathodes = ??
RAM = 5W max iirc (x2)
So far we have a total of 470W + the cathodes. Seems fair to me

yes its the exagerations which put me off.
cathodes = 6w

470 < 650w
and it will probably be even less cause gtx460 takes much less than gtx465

thx thats a better answer

Rather get a Corsair PSU. That CM 650watt is pricey.

±R910 Corsair VX550W , Eps12V , ATX 12V V2.2 - 550w ( 12v : 492w ) , 80PLUS certified for energy saving , 24pin ( 4pin detachable ) , with active-PFC , 6pin PCI-E + 1x8pin (6+2) PCI-E power connectors , 1x 120mm thermal controled fan ; 6x SATA ; with OCP, OVP, OPP, SCP, UVP - 5 years warranty - no power cord
±R1000 Corsair GS600 , Eps12V , with 140mm bLue led fan , ATX 12V V2.3 - 600w ( 12v : 576w ) , 80PLUS white certified for energy saving , 24pin ( 4pin detachable ) , with active-PFC , 2x8pin (6+2) PCI-E power connectors , 6x SATA ; with OCP, OVP, OPP, SCP, UVP - 3 years warranty - no power cord

I agree. go with corsair. way better PSU than the cooler master.

the 600w is for R700 ish
the 650w is 912
corsair overshoots my budget i already have the 650w
which im gonna swap with the 600w
other PC intel with 650w it will run the same with the 600w
so il take its 650w

The extreme power coolermaster are okay. The GX ones are very good. I'd say get a cooler master GX power supply.
