i have a super quick question. is there software that allows you to see how big your PSU is? the back part of my case doesnt allow me to see the wattage on the side and i really need to know.

Not that I'm aware of no. Since the PSU is not connected to the motherboard by anthing intelligent like USB, you have no way of telling. At one stage Gigabyte were offering this on some of their supplies, don't know if it gave total rating though.

The only sure-fire way of checking this is to remove the power supply and check the sticker - you should be able to do this without dismantling the PC.

If you're unsure how to remove the PSU - undo the 4 screws that hold the PSU to the case, then carefully move it towards the front of the case; when there is enough space to clear the back-edge of the case, angle the PSU out the side and you should be able to see the sticker with the model and ratings.
