Hey guys,

So this morning I discovered my PC stuck in an endless cycle of switch on, CPU and case fans spin for 1 second, everything switches off.

At lunch time I will be taking it apart and checking components, cable connections, shorts etc, but I think it may be a faulty PSU.

Anyone in Midrand who has a PSU I can use just to test if it is a PSU issue? I can collect and return when done testing.

Just got it into Windows.

Unplugged the front USB header, sorted everything.

All sorted now.

Last thing I did last night was removed my External HDD and a flash drive, so I removed the Front USB header and now then it booted fine. Also reset the BIOS to defaults. Have new GPU installed, busy downloading drivers.

Thanks for the input guys.

Will do a Heaven bench when it's done, so we can see what happened :D

Did you overclock your CPU?

Nvm see you got sorted. Lucky! :p

It was OC yes, but had been running stably at that OC for a while, and when it wasn't happy with the OC, it would ignore it and boot anyway, then tell me I'm a noob and borked the config and would default to standard OC.
Anyway, seems sorted, busy running Heaven to see...
