PSU with U.S power cord

I just bought a 600w PSU from take2 and when i opened up the box it had a U.S power cord in it, can i use a normal South african PC power cable with this or do i need an adaptor? The US cable is labeled as 125V 10A. The box shows AC input as 100-240 Vac ~ 10-5A 50/60Hz. Its a OCZ stealthXstream power supply.

Yes, you can safely swap for a South African power cord, or even cut off the US plug and fit a South Africa plug (be careful the colours might be different).

If there is no switch on the back of the PSU, then it will safely switch automatically. If there is a red switch, then you have to choose between the higher and lower voltage settings. Most of the newer ones are all automatic.

As Garyvdh mentioned, be carefull of the wiring colours - USA wiring is usually:

Earth: Green (ours is green/yellow)
Live: Black (ours is brown)
Neutral: White (ours is blue)
