PTAWUG is a non-profit organization aiming to build a wireless network covering the whole Pretoria area.
The advantages of such a network are:
- No monthly fees, the only expense is buying your wireless equipment
- The sharing and transfer of any data over the network.
- Internal gaming servers
- Voice Over IP.
- DC++, FTP, etc.
Download speeds are incredible, ranging from 300kB/s to 1mB/s.
