According to the newspaper, Transport Minister Ben Martins said in an interview last week his department was “working very hard” to find ways to soften the effect of e-tolling.
What I can't understand is why minibus taxis are excluded from paying toll fees?
Is it because Sanral and the Government want to avoid the confrontation that would ensue?

If you were at all sincere, you would have pursued the fuel levy route from day 1. This soft story of yours does not fly.

And were rewarded with a R50,000 taxi scrapping allowance to buy a new taxi, as part of the government taxi recapitalisation program.Same reason they don't pay taxes.
Correct me, but someone mentioned mentioned the ANC pension fund has invested in this e-toll. If true, what does that tell you??
