Public sector wage showdown

South African public sector workers voiced optimism about reaching a pay deal with the government as soon as next week.

If Bloomberg had any common sense, they'd differentiate between national, provincial and local government. Also, they'd differentiate between political appointments such as ministers, and the average council worker.

It's all very very complicated.
