PUK Number retrieval or support?

My damn phone started bombing out and I couldn't get it to the start up screen. (SE w900i)

Why this happened I don't know?:(:confused:

Removed the battery a few times to get it to the start up screen.

Then enter my PIN, it doesn't take!!! MEGA :confused:!!!
Enter the PIN a 2nd time and still notthing.
I reckon that I should remove the battery again and then get back to the start up screen to enter the PIN.
Enter it (the correct one yes) and now its gone and !@#$!@$% blocked itself.

All the stuff (paperwork) that goes with it are long gone (stupid me yes).

Is there any number that one can call to get it?
I'm with Nashua Mobile on MTN and their (Nashua's) k@k site has no mention of these procedures if they infact exist.

The FAQ section on the MTN site is in Flash I think and I can't view it here at the office :mad:

I'll have to resort to waiting till I get home.
But if anyone has any help to offer it would be sincerely appreciated. ;)

I urgently need to get my phone up and running ASAP - this is a matter of PUNANI!!!! :p :D

Eish - thanks ld13, but the damn office IP based phones can't complete the call!!!!!! Grrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!

EDIT: If you're serious about the offer to call MTN, I'll take you up on it :)

PM me your number, if you are that desperate and are willing to part such private info...or give me a looong list of numbers to get the PUKs of - I'll never know which one of them is/are?* yours :p

Sorry to burst your bubble man....but MTN just told me I had to call Nashua on 0860 412 412 to obtain your PUK number. Phoned them. "Our office hours are... ..." :(

I'm on hold, at this hour?! :sick:, atm with MTN 173 trying to get through to a real Operator or something... :(

Still on hold :mad: The music repeated a few times, then the phone ringed like for a few times as if I was being put through to an operator, then the music starts again. Then this whole process repeats itself :( Whats up at 173? :confused:

Edit: Fine, I put the phone down, was a free call in any case - But I don't think anyone at 173 Wanted to pick up the phone tonight...

I tried at least :o

Edit (again): Return the favour? Easy Easy! Just buy my Sapphire ATI Radeon HD3850 512MB AGP as advertised here: http://mybroadband.co.za/classifieds/showproduct.php/product/4709/cat/3 coolkthxbye :p :D

Eish - not looking to do any upgrades on my PC. Opted for the Xbox360 :D

I know its a free call, but still its a bit much to ask of you to hold on the whole time :o

Hi I my no is 0737981086 I called 173 then was told to call 808 and no puk pls help
 
PUK number - Mission Impossible!!!

I can't seem to get puk no. anywhere! Have a contract no. with Mtn. Phoned Mtn 173 got redirected to 808....got redirected back to 173. Eventually after being ping-ponged between 173 n 808 for 2days, I am told my no. is registered under the mtn service provider: ABLEF Trading. So, I call the numbers given to me by useless mtn customer service (My ASS!).....
This one; 0112523815 - DOES NOT EXIST!!!...... This one; 0860888999 consultant says my no. IS NOT registered with them!! I am now f#*king gatvol!! Can't believe that its such an impossible mission to get a simple damn puk no! Un-f*%king believable!!! Mtn SUCKS!
 
And oh yes, this site was also not much better than mtn. Gee thanks for all the 'welcome' replies and no solution to my problem.... I still HAVE NO PUK NO!!!!
 
If all else fails, get a sim swop.

You did not take out your contract with MTN so 808 cannot help you (although this is odd), you will need to go to the folk where your contract was issued. They are probably (although I doubt this) the only ones that have access to your PUK info. In future stay the heck away from MTN.

Also... have you tried 083 1 808 option 2?
