How to ruin a country

Stick loyal party members into crucial positions (deployment) regardless of competence or ability. If something goes wrong, reshuffle them to another position and hope nobody notices. Reshuffle things frequently enough that nobody has a chance to acquaint themselves with their new position. That way everyone has a credible excuse for not doing their job (I'm new). This ensures zero results whilst maintaining excuses.

Keep doing this until 95% of all municipalities fail their audits, the energy provide can't keep the lights on and the dept of education is incapable of delivering books to scholars.

So everything is going to sht. It has a silver lining though - now you've got loyal party members in all the crucial positions. This opens new opportunities...like stealing billions...or maybe building a 200m+ mansion.

And that my friends is how you go from glorious new democracy to banana republic in a swift 20 years.
