Purchasing Items from Google Store

Hi guys

I am having trouble purchasing items from the Google Store. I am trying to buy a Chromecast and I am having it shipped within the US.

When I come to the final step it says "Cannot complete transaction"

Do I need to use a VPN or anything like that.

I had this issue once after I had to renew my bank card. Despite entering the new one's details correctly like 30 times, I kept getting the same error. I tried every few months, and like 8 months later it just randomly started working.

Why not just buy the Chromecast locally though? Which one is it and what is the price (shipping included) if buying from the Google Store?

Local stores don't have the 2018 one and it's cheaper to import

Google store is often funny with non america cards. Abit hit and miss.
