Pure LTE (MTN) with Huawei E3276 dongle

I need to get a fixed wireless LTE connection for only 3 months. I have a Huawei E3276 dongle that I got from a previous Afrihost LTE package some years ago. Will this still work with a new SIM, instead of getting a new router as well?
