PvP to PvE server?

So who of you lot are on a PvE server and what you think of it?

You can still do BG's and Arena's right? Thinking of moving from the PvP server...its just too damn annoying...

Which PvE server would be best for raids?
 
yeah you can still do bg's and arena's you just cant pwn those damn noob allies around the world.
 
Have always been on a PVE server, and I find it agreeable with my play style. Horde - Alliance interaction are a lot less though, since the people on PVE servers tend to be less PVP active so there are less city attacks etc. Note that even on PVE servers some zones are PVP active such as opposite factions cities or starting zones. (The defending faction may choose not to engage in PVP though).
BG's and arenas are on all servers, and it is mixed with PVP realms as well so you always have a mix of good PVP players in PVP content.

I actually prefer PvE servers now , after lvling my first 2 toons to 70 on a PvP one.
Yes theres no real world PvP, that just means you dont get ganked, or get to do some ganking.:)

However PvE comes with it's own problems, like having a toon from the apposing faction mine your node and you can't do anything about it...except hope you clicked it first>.<

Drag some mobs to the node and vanish, invisable, stealth or FD, (or shadow meld if your a NE). When they start attacking the other guy steal the node ;)
 
What are the RP-PvP servers? RP already means I won't go there, but I just want to know for interest sake :)

Btw which PvE realm you recommend (I'm a hard core raider :p )
 
Pretty much the same as other PVP servers, people are just role playing :P
Nut cases if you ask me ;)
 
What PVE server? depends what you want from the game. Hardcore raiding with other South Africans? Just hardcore raiding? Horde/ Alliance?
Social guild?
I would recommend medium to full population servers though since the full population servers have extreme latency problems at the moment (read all about this on the official forums). Low population servers strugle in general to get enough people for raiding, and the choice of raiding guilds are limited.

I cant really recommend any specific server though, as I have not done any investigation on this yet. I am quite happy on my over full server at the moment. But that is due to the fact that I know a lot of people and have achieved more or less already what I have set out to get from this game :D

I agree 110%. As for the realms... Lightbringer EU has always been know as Lagbringer, on the 2,5 years on it, latency on it hasn't changed (apart from the refugees when their server is down) its a rather stable server, only issues are patches - then it gets its nick. It does have both horde and alliance SA guilds, the Horde side <Prophecy> is flying through the PVE content. Us raiding saffers on alliance are grouped with EU guilds. Braaivleis are more leveling than raid progression, and have just started heroics at 80 (very casual chatty fun guild)
 
Well I'm hard core raider, Horde. Don't mind SA guilds or foreign...I can like to speak English very deliciously :p

Need to convince a mate of mine to move as well ^^
