PVR Decoder to PC?

Can you copy movies and programs off your PVR decoder onto your pc. and if so how?

I use a Video Capture thingy, and plug it into the TV2 RCA connetors on the PVR. It allows me to record live TV or any pre-recorded program to the PC.

Pinnacle also has a few products that will do the job.

or buy a DVD recorder from Macro or GAME
