I have the 1110 Dstv decoder. I am looking for a PVR but would like to have Dual View? What options do i have? I believe only the HD PVR is available?
I do not have a HD TV?

not sure if you can extraview two 1110's, try gumtree and the likes to get the SD-PVR. Or else you will have to fork out for the HD-PVR and extraview with the 1110 for dual view. You dont have to have a HD / HD ready LCD for the HD-PVR. It still has conventional RF and AV outputs.

The only 2 decoders available at the moment is the Pace HD PVR and the 1131 single view. If you want PVR + dual view, you would have to use those 2 in an Xtraview setup...

Thats new off the shelf stuff... look around, you can pick up good second hand decoders. The SD-PVR is getting very hard to come bye these days...

According to the manual I have, you can extraview 2 1110 decoders, So i presume you can do the same with the 1131's

This thread is called PVR. How is 2 1131's going to give him that? The option I gave is the only option available that will give him PVR and dual view, which is what he wants.

i know, just letting the OP know cheapest scenario for Dual view... I personally have both PVR's, the HD is much less responsive than the SD... If I was him I would look for a second hand SD first. Unless he wants the HD really badly!

For plain dualview, you can try to find another 1110, some retailers might still have stock, other it's between the HD PVR for R3000 or the 1131 for R400...another choice is an SD PVR, but can only buy it 2nd hand, but it's really awesome...
