Introduction
My client in Cape Town is urgently looking for a Python Developer
Description
3+ years of software development experience with distributed, highly-scalable, multi-node environments.
Demonstrable advanced experience with C, C++ or Java as well as strong experience with scripting languages such as Python, Perl, shell, etc.
Strong understanding of virtual machine technologies, networking and storage systems.
Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills.
A background in developing large scale compute or storage products strong plus.
Advanced understanding of cluster architecture a strong plus.
An ability to demonstrate logical thinking, decisiveness and drive in taking on and completing tasks.
BS in Computer Science, prefer Masters or PhD.
Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others.
