Python For Very Beginners

Can some one please give me a link to a pdf file to learn python for very very noobs,newbie person.
I dont see why python must go hand in hand with javascript.Its confusing me.I need to read and study.
help anyone on this.
I have seached google but the tutorial is still not very clear.

I don't know if I'd day that Python goes hand in hand with JavaScript...personally, I think Python is much easier to learn, and if anything its syntax is very similar to PHP, not JavaScript.

Also, I recommend getting a copy of Python for the Absolute Beginner by Michael Dawson. It teaches basic concepts of Python using game/simulation related exercises like making an Asteroids game, which can help make learning not so boring.

A really good online book is Dive into python:

It is available in a number of formats, including pdf.

As for python and javascript going hand in hand, perhaps you can explain what it is you want to do?
