Q6600 Overheating.

tbh I haven't noticed Zenbaas. I s'pose I wanted to upgrade out of greed again and I felt the 8600 was a bit old.

I have a 700w psu and I also upgraded my 8600gt to 9600gt and after the clean up I noticed a silent pc compared to before the upgrade. The 9600gt (1024) connects separately to the psu. My psu is a no name brand cheapie, what psu do you have saffa?

Its a 500 watt Gigabyte generic psu I guess, has the 6 pins for PCI-e thats about it!

Yes noticed that on the 9600gt as well, self powered, scary given the fact that the old 8800GT used to heat up like a warhead!
