Qlikview Developer x2. R600k. Braamfontein based. Strictly EE position.
Purpose of the Role
Development, maintenance and enhancements of the Liberty BI Qlikview environment.
Key Responsibilities and Deliverables
• To implement enhancements, working from high level requirements specifications in line with business requirements (including enhancements to existing processes and procedures, development of new functionality, etc).
• Assist in development and maintenance of back-end processes and establish the best method of extracting required data from the various master systems and Warehouse Databases.
• Assist in the delivery of data from the source systems to the warehouse and the respective marts.
• To maintain and do problem resolution within existing processes.
• ETL processing – automation, scheduling, logging, monitoring and reporting.
• Contribute towards development standards and guidelines.
• Development and maintenance of all SQL data marts.
• Develop and maintain Qlikview models.
• Quality assurance checks on all new project functionality.
• To liaise with Users, Business Analysts and support staff.
• To provide written and verbal feedback to users, team members and management.
• Post implementation support.
• Creation and maintenance of technical documentation.

Qualification required for the role (minimum/ preferred)
A minimum of Matric with mathematics, and a tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Engineering or Informatics.
The candidate must also be able to work under pressure and work outside of normal working hours when required.
• At least 2-3 years solid experience in Qlikview development for dash boarding and formatted reporting.
• At least 1 year solid experience in SSIS, SSRS, SSAS & T-SQL and SQL Server 2008 or 2005.
• Good working knowledge of Windows Server, and IIS.
• Have worked with large quantities of raw data, large transaction volumes.
Experience in the some of the following would be a distinct advantage but is not essential:
• Qlikview SAP Connector.
• Qlikview Publisher.
• Oracle PL/SQL knowledge
• Cognos reporting
• VB6 / VB .Net
