QS120 MULTIMEDIA PLAYER PROBLEM

Hi there,

I have the QS120 MULTIMEDIA PLAYER for 3.5" SATA & IDE HDD and picked up the following issue.
I'm currently using a 80GB IDE HDD in the player with no issues. As soon as I tried inserting a 160GB SATA drive, it will show my movies for the 1st time then 2nd time, it does not read anything.

Has anyone experienced this and is there a fix for it?

First things first. The Zioncom's don't support NTFS that well, actually it sucks quite frankly, so rather format your drives as FAT32. Secondly, it hates lots of directories. I remember if I had folders within folders then files it always had issues. So place your files in the following method: movies>moviefolder>movie etc. music>artist>albums>songs

I've still got my remote at home. If you would like to have it as a spare for your unit (not sure if it will work, but I think so) I wouldn't mind sending it to you just pm me
