Quad core iPhone in the pipeline?

Multi CPU and Multi Core phones has been around for a long time. The Nokia N73 that was released in 2006 had 2 CPUs.
 
Yes! ive been waiting for this!!! can't wait to play crysis on it, and maybe do some video encoding and 3D Rendering.....

That all depends on clock speeds and also what cores are used at what times. On a Nokia N82 for example the 3D support is not used all the time, yet if you run something like Quake 3 on the phone you find that it does kill the battery fairly quickly.
