Quake Live weird bug issue

I am having an issue with quake live. I recently purchased the game and cant play because my charachter (dude, avatar, whatever it is called) runs without me even touching the keyboard. I have tried 4 different keyboards (all new) and every time the guy runs on his own. He runs forward and left...so this makes it impossible to play this game properly.

Please, anyone know how to fix this? It even happens when I use the |unbindall command.

Do you perhaps have a joystick / gamepad or any additional devices connected to your computer via USB?

Unfortunately I do not have any of these devices connected to my pc
