I am not completely clued up on the process's of IP allocation, what I am wanting to know is 2 things:

- When you dial your connection are you given an IP specific to international access and another for local, or just one current IP?

- How can you query this IP?

I am wanting to know this all to setup a "VPN" type thing. Thanks for any help.

ipconfig in a cmd prompt will give your pc's ip
for your routers internet ip you need to type your routers local ip in the ie adres bar and login
you only get one internet ip from your isp and its probably not fixed

You're only given one, but because internet in South Africa goes through a gauntlet of transparent proxies, connections to your computer could falsely interpret your IP to be any bloody thing.
