My (computer) mouse is also in front of the monitor, thus receiving even more radiation...
Hmmm, if only I could afford a lekker LCD screen to replace my extremely clunky 19" radiator...there are advantages to using notebooks - reduced screen radiation...

Just a bit of useless information.

Hypersensitivity to electromagnetic fields Sep 8 2004

Gareth Morgan, The Western Mail

ELECTRIC hypersensitivity is a disorder where neurological and allergic symptoms, including headaches and nausea, are brought on through exposure to electromagnetic fields.

Many individuals are sensitive to certain frequencies of these fields and there is a wide range in the degree of sensitivity exhibited by those affected.

While many people have trouble getting recognition for the condition, it has attracted growing numbers of researchers.

It has become a prominent topic in America, where Dr William Rea (who claims to suffer himself) reports that he is treating 500 patients who are electrically sensitive, at his clinic in Dallas, Texas.

A spokeswoman for the British Allergy Foundation said that acceptance would take time.

"We sometimes call it the secret disease, and doctors need to learn more about allergies generally so people can get recognition and help," she said.
