Hi all, so I have an 8th gen 8700 CPU.
Was planning on upgrading to 12th gen with 4.0 nvme SSD. But now seems 5.0 is out as well with AMD.

Anyways my question is, I've never cloned an SSD or HDD before. Can I just clone my main drive? I have 5 drives in my PC, with the other 4 still work fine?

Or with windows is it better to do a fresh install because of new architecture on new CPUs?
Because honestly I can't remember my windows 10 username or password. I made some shizz up 4/5 years ago and just left it as is since.
Now I bought some stuff like Dolby Atmos etc that I don't wanna lose.

.

Yeah this should work fine. Maybe unplug the other 4 so that you don't accentally clone to one of them. I use macrium reflect free to clone.
