Hi,
I currently have a 512 account with Telkom ISP in my home. I need to have another ADSL account at another home - basically my office - since I spend time at both locations.

So the hopefully simple question is this:
can I order 192 DSL for the second home and then use my 512 credentials in BOTH locations (obviously at different times) AND get 512 speeds at both places? Or does Telkom somehow (hardware/software) stop you from getting 512 speeds from what is meant to be a 192 connection?

Hopefully I am making sense - it would save me some cash if I could do it that way!

Thanks!

Your isp account does not slow your speed down, your line does. ie at the exchange it is set how fast or slow the line is reguardless of what isp/account you use. if location 1 is 512 and location 2 is 192 it will remain that way even if you use the same isp/internet account.

ah - ok - thanks for the info... I guess I will have to let telkom rob me a little more....
