Question about Selling an iBurst modem

I recently had a chap interested in buying my iBurst modem which I am selling (check classifieds) Only problem was that he couldn't test the modem with his account as the serial number on the modem is obviously been "deactivated" since I cancelled my month to month. Now how does this work? Does the person that buys the modem have to phone iBurst and activate the modem under their account? Or how does it work?

Each account is set to only work with a certain UTID number...

Yes, the seller/buyer can call the iBurst Logistics Dept during office hours - they can facilitate modem (re-)assignments.

Don't mean to hijack the thread, but does this mean only ONE modem per account, or can I have two or more? I have a desktop modem, want to get a usb one for my laptop.

You can have more than one modem on a account... You just have to phone Iburst to link the additional modem
