Question about the Mifi device from Afrihost

When my mifi device is switched on, if not connected to the charger or via USB to the pc, only the the battery light is on, and it flashes slowly (about every 3 seconds).

When I switch it on, all the lights come on, then about a minute later, all go off except the battery indicator. It flashes green, and even when it is fully charged.

If I then press the power button for a second, all the lights come on (wifi indicator, reception, power), but after a minute does the same thing.

Is this normal?

Mine too, think it's the low power mode, even though that's only supposed to come on after a preset time.

Ok well, as long as I am not the only 1. When the battery is actually low, does your battery indicator flash red? I presumed that would be low power mode?

Yes it flashes red for low battery. I'm not too happy with the battery life on this device.

I think around 4 hours. I guess it's not bad but i'm just used to my tablet creating my wifi hotspot and that stays on for a couple of days.

dam ok then. use to do that with my ipad but could only get about 5 hours out of it

Mine lasts about 4 days

1 hour's usage each day

Adjust your power savings mode on the router itself - it may give you longer battery life...

No complaints my side whatsoever I have tested this baby and can get roughly 12hours of usage.

It doesn't bother me that the battery indicator flashes as long as it does its job I am happy with it.

Just 1 thing that bothers me is the battery indicator doesn't work like a phone giving you rough indication of percentage left

Thank you for the advice. I want to download the official app for android, on iTunes there is an official app from Huwei.
