Let's say my car breaks down, and I need to get groceries, while my car is being repaired.
Am I allowed to pack my groceries in the Uber driver's car ?

Yes. If you observe pickup zones in malls, this happens all the time.

Strange question. I really don't see why not. Unless it is Bajaj qute - in which case you can probably pack an onion or two.

Absolutely, in the same way your luggage goes in the Uber to the airport

check the reg plate, seen some dodgy people swapping plates and telling me its too hard to get a car on Uber.

Eish, reading some of the horror stories is exactly as you mention. I'll have to make another plan, not worth the risk.

living in fear isnt living life, taken my fair share of Ubers and bolts with numerous weird things happening,
document and complain afterwards, and keep your wits about you, if anything it might not cost you anything

and then again, this is south africa, risk is part of the national identity, after all we arent Vatican city.
