Hi,

In recent months we have had two people leave our company that had business phones.

One was MTN, the other (more recent) Vodacom.

I know one can either pay out with the fine or let the contract run to it's end.

Is it possible to let the contract run to it's end and perhaps put the fee minutes on one of our other phones?

Thank you in advance.

Thanks.

Any suggestions as to what to do with this device as nobody (myself included) is willing to take over an R800 a month contract.

Downgrade to lowest package available, and pay up to end of contract. Cheapest way to do it...

You can downgrade/migrate down for free after the first year of the contract is up...

I did it late last year myself on a Talk 500 package... Downgraded to a cheap package. Contract was 13 months old.

I know nothing about that and I would not be going around telling people that as it will set them up for a dissapointment.

There are 4 instances when a migration will be free
When the contract has expired and is on a month to month basis
When moving from a lower to a higher tariff package
When moving from Per Second Billing to the same Unitised package or vice versa
When doing a Upgrade and Migration Simultaneously
A migration fee will be charged when doing a downward migration of a
premature migration
