hello guys - need some advice.

I have an Ipad with a US account. I need to setup an app called 4oD, to stream a UK television series to the Ipad. However, when i try via Safari on the Ipad, I get a message that Safari cannot play the relevant file, and it then points me to a page with a link to Itunes. When i click on that, it gives me a message that i'm on the US store, and need to change to the UK store. I do that, but when clicking on the app, it tells me that my account can only purchase in the US store.

Thus, having done some browsing, it appears that i should create a UK Itunes account, use it to install the app, and then change back to my US account.

Is this correct, and if so, when logged in via the US account, will i be able to play the UK app?

Just create a UK account - download the app - switch back to US store. You can still run the app afterwards though you won't receive notifications for app updates from the UK store unless you log in again at a later stage.

Got this sorted by using a friend's UK account to download the app:)

oh for the love of Apple - hello Android!!

I have a Nexus 5 and I wanted to download the BBC iPlayer app and I can't because it's not in the SA app store. I either have to make a UK ID (exactly like iOS) or install an APK that came from an untrustworthy source. Please explain to me then how Android is better than iOS?
