Question on upgrading Vodacom contract

This is the situation ...

I have been due for an upgrade on my VC contract for some time now, since three months ago or so (i think) ... the contract however will expire on the 11 Dec 08

now i want a I8510 Samsung, which costs R3800 pay in on a top up 315 as an upgrade or R2700 odd on a new contract ...

Will VC see it as a new contract if i let the contract expire and take out a new contract or will they see this as an upgrade ... cause logic tells me its a new contract since i aint doing an early upgrade ... hope i make sense ...
 
Once your contract officially expires, it goes on a month to month basis, until you cancel or upgade.

I think you will have to migrate the number to prepaid and then in 3 months you allowed to upgrade or something like that...
Is the inov8 out yet?
 
I would just port if they are pulling sh|t like that.

YUP. sure is. but you have to "hunt" to find one. Try Cellucity. Thats where I finally got mine.:)
 
R3499. Even though they originally said R2499. Big Diff. But I wanted the phone, so I was like "yeah whatever!" lol:D
