Question re router lights

Hi guys, what does it mean when the PPP light is off? Yesterday my ADSL weny down and that was the one thing that changed. ADSL light is still on though. Anything I can try or should I just contact Telkom first thing in the morning? Thanks

That means the router is syncing, but it's unable to connect to your ISP.

I had the same thing happen to me on Friday evening and it turned out to be a networking problem in my area, It only got fixed on Tuesday late afternoon after numerous calls to Telkom and buying a new modem (which one of the consultants advised and turned out not to be the problem)

ADSL light is synch, PPP is ISP login indicator...really sucks when you see that light constantly flickering.
