[Question to ISP] Upgrade from 1Mbps to 2Mbps

Dear ISPs (especially OpenWeb),

As you know Telkom will increase the speed on the faster DSL package from 1Mbps to 2Mbps.

What if people keep their 1Mbps package will they be able to communicate at 2Mbps locally?

No. You'll still be on a 1Mbps package.

You'll get a 15% speed boost though due to overheads.
