I was wondering if 31/30/0 is a valid spec for pvp thinking of going mellee boomkin in leather and i dont wanna lose all my feral abilities thinking of combining the 2.

Thats 31 balance 30 Feral 0 Resto
I am at the moment resto feral.

Unfortunately it's either Boomkin or Feral. Mixing the two just isn't viable.

when you say resto feral atm, what exactly do you mean? Deep resto with just enough feral for feral charge? Or deep feral with just enough resto for omen of clarity?

But there is one option for you if you wish to go melee moonkin...
Try this spec

Just pop on 4 or 5 feral pieces with nice AP for mana regen on hit and try to get the feral mace from cenarion expedition, earthwarden or something similar and put a +spell dmg chant on.

Melee boomkin is a viable spec, but you will short some threat reduction so get a nice threat add-on like omen

Deep feral low resto hate being interupted when healing and the 10% helps too.

The sad thing is i wanna go boomkin for but see most are wearing cloth then the boomkin armour bonus 400% does not help much.

Yeah, sadly with Blizzard ignoring caster leather items moonkins are forced to wear quite a lot of cloth to compete dmg wise. Deep feral is nice for pvp, but really sucks for arena. I haven't been able to get past 1850rating on my druid while spec'd feral, and the latency definitely doesn't help.

So if you're planning on competing in arena, or at least want to play it without screaming at your screen and throwing things, its best to spec either boomkin or resto. Boomkins are severely underestimated in arena, so give it a try.

Boomkin trees are also a nice thing to have to pop rogues out of stealth to prevent them getting the opener on you, so mixing feral/balance isn't the best idea.

With the new S3 you can easily do 6k honour a day so then you can at least get 5 nice leather pieces.. given its only T4 but nice if you short leather and whips....
And keep in mind the healing pieces also give nice mixed stats.
I am not playing my druid atm, focussing on my hunter. but if i had to put on some stuff for my moonkin it would be leather healing gear... At least for PvP... PvE i would go for 3 balance pieces and 2 feral.

Yes, almost full balance...
You dont need any points in feral for a good moonkin, but the 11 in healing is esential for 10% extra damage and omen of clarity.
When you go melee moonkin your gear is the toughest choice, not a much points your talent tree

Ok few more questions how good is the 400% armour really vs melle classes like waroirs and rogues let put it this way does moonkins own in 1v1 like ferals?

I am still low lvl 38 and what lvl should i start speccing balance?

Cant hybernate a pet under beastial wrath...
But I guess that is why hunters still win 9/10 times against Druids :p They will always do that noob error :p

Gotta love TBW

*Werries beat me 2 it :(

Any class can beat any other class in PvP. Of course this is dependant on played skill, gear and spec.
Balance druids sometime make the mistake of thinking they MUST be in moonkin all the time... How can you play a druid to 70 and then suddenly forget how to shift forms all of a sudden.
Moonkin form is good against warriors and rogues. Against other classes a druid might find it better not to be in moonkin form and make use of lifebloom, rejuve, regrowth and the odd healing touch.
But again, that will depend on your playing style and whether you prefer PvE or PvP.

I tried other classes got 2 hunters lvl 25 other one 30 hunters bores me to death then i got a waroir lvl 35 who cant kill a hunter even on his best days my druid lvl 39 i respeced ballance yester day and my frost mage the one that are the most fun was my feral druid and my lvl 35 mage thinking of rolling a lock or priest too latter.

I've recently specced feral after 2 years of healing. It's much more fun ofc, but strangely, i won most of my pvp encounters as a healbot. Given, its usually a long fight, but very satisfying :)
