Always 165.165.x.xxx

I thought 165.165 was Telkoms generic IP. When you are capped its 165.165.1-3,xx, I think.

notice the ONCE "x"
165.165.0-3.xxx (didn't see 4-9 while capped)

but that only gives a range of about 3000

actually, because a single IP "range" can only go up to 255, you'll end up with 4*255 which is about 1200.

It's interesting to note that SAIX had to recently (within the last week) up the amount of IP's available to capped users due to the fact that the amount was causing service to be lost.

I'd love to know what number of users actually get capped... That will fly in the face of Telkom's claim that a "small" number of "abusers" get capped. [}]

From Feb 2003 Until April I never got capped used over 15GB each month and then after April they started with their capping .
