Now i have a question to all you so called footy loving fans

everyday i come onto this forum and its the same fanboy nonsence all over everyday some times it even drags me into it

why doesnt anyone like to talk tactics ,how they think their team beat their opponents ,analysed games ,what they thought of their managers tactics ,what you think the tactics would/should be for your next oponents

AND WHY DOES EVERYTHING YOU POST HAVE TO BE FROM A WEBSITE TO BE TRUE

why cant you guys just give your honest own opionions and not taken from some website

So far there are 2 posters who's post i enjoy reading its Poolmania (can see he takes his footy serious and it his own opionion) and Smokeski the blue

dont get me wrong guys i love the Banter that goes on ,but it would be cool to just talk about a games tactics aswell

I agree 100%. It gets a bit much that everything has to be researched or else you cant share your opinions/viewpoints. Sometimes its better to show you knowledge by actually showing it rather than sourcing it- And by no means do I dismiss proper facts.

I also accept the title of a FanBoy (i.e. A passionate fan of various elements who is completely loyal to a game/company/team/comic etc. regardless if they suck or not.)-And yes there are many other definitions

P.s. Thought I'd share another definition (i.e. FanBoy: A pathetic insult often used by fanboys themselves to try and put down people who don't like whatever it is they like. Fanboys also usually use the word 'own3d' if they beat someone. )

I try not to get too serious on the forums. There are real football forums that I visit to discuss more serious matters. I usually just pop in here while at work to make a quick comment.

That's because here, if you critise your own team, you are branded as unloyal and dastardly! Though, the 'pool/arse fans have never gotten slack for it so it must be a Chelski thing.

Though I have a even more profound question. In the absence of sterling results and various quoted players saying that Barca is the best team in the world... What would Genius and Supa have to say? I've only been active this side for about 4-6 months and don't really know how they reacted and what they said last year...

Put it to you this way - Genius was banned about half a dozen times with his cloned nicknames before evolving to "Genius".

What I've come to learn is that if you support Man United, you are crapped on constantly and told by some to be a "bandwagon" supporter. Results & statistics holds no water to those who love schitting on your team for no reason, other than the fact that they hate them.

to be fair guys Im not attacking Genius and Supa ,it just amazes me that no one here talks tactics in their posts, and when they do they do, its through an article written by some journo who nobody even knows

Because many hold their teams dearly to their heart and when they are criticised or slandered, everything gets personal (which is a natural reaction to anything we hold dearly), but it seems that many have the maturity levels of a 10 year old. I've slowly been drawing away from the footy section. It's just too childish now. It seems that Fernando and only one or two others actually know what they're talking about.

Problem with talking tactics is - that each of us support different teams. I watch the top 4 in England/Spain/Italy every weekend.

I cannot speak tactics to you about Barca. Why? Cos you only watch Liverpool play and maybe United or Chelsea?

Most here only watch their team play and thats it. So if you are hinting at all the little camps talk tactics between themselves, then go ahead.

All i am saying is, that if you dont even know which players played, how would you know about the tactics?

Evidence to me that you dont watch La Liga as often as you claim. The next game Barca and Real plays, i will ask you about their tactics and the oppositions tactics.
