Questions about Android OS apps

I've got an LG G3 running Marshmallow 6.0 and have installed Opera Max to try and save data. Got every app blocked from connecting to the internet except for Whatsapp, Messenger and Opera Mini. Problem comes when I want to update or install new apps onto the phone, currently have to disconnect Opera Max to do that and EVERY app just wants to connect, which not only slows the connection drastically but uses a massive amount of data. Just want to know what apps does Android use to get apps from the Play Store so I can unblock just those when I want to install new apps or update my already installed ones.
