Questions to ask Wireless Provider

My company is looking at replacing our Diginet line with a wireless connection.

What questions should i be asking the provider - eg contention ratios etc etc

what area are you in?

remember that your uptime with a wireless connection will be much less then that of a diginet line.

I take it you are moving from a diginet line purely on the cost factor.
what size diginet line do you have now? what is it used for?

main question to ask a potential WISP is "what SLA are you willing to put in place"

I would be very careful moving off a diginet if you have mission critical stuff running over your line.

I think the price for Diginet makes it very viable to move off the line, i would be very carefull of staying on the line..

But wireless will be much less reliable. Maby you should stick to the big guys (Sentech, Iburst, maby one of the better small WISPS)

Well for the questions.. contention ratio is important, bu thats just to do with speed.. im not shure if asking them qeustions will help you much, besides speeds and caps etc..
You should check out what other people say about their speeds/uptime and service.
