riiight, so I've been using the quick charge kit for my 360 controller quite happily for quite some time.... when it stopped freaking charging my batteries causing me to go back to some eveready's....whoopee-doo...

I've been to the shop I bought it from ( but some clever p*%pol, namely me, dont have the slip anymore :D) , but they tune its the battery and I should put another battery in, to check that theory...
Ya, didn't work either... must be the charger then.

What gives?, any ideas why its maybe not working.... Its not like it got dropped, splashed with water, chewed by my dogs or even thrown out a window of a moving car...
Its just been sitting there quietly in its corner doing its job.... until it decided to stop doing what it's suppose to do...

Is it an original or generic. You didn't perhaps yank the cord in your frustration?

A play & charge kit retails for R200 these days. A new one wont cost you an arm & a leg.

Or do you want me to source you one? :D

Original yes... And I didn't yank the cord. But even if I did, it shouldn't do anything it seeing as the cord is de-tachable from the charger itself. So that would do anything to it, but I didn't yank the cord... I feel like doing it now though...

LOL

Then you just got the cable from a bad patch. Or do you have soldering & electrician skills?

Tough luck dude!

Electrician skills is one of the beeeeg mysteries of the world to me.... :D
So thats a no...
But I actually work with a electrical engineer though, I'm sure he's got some sodlering skills... you reckon this is fixable...

It won't hurt to try!

I only fix the Xbox 360 console itself. I've gotten many machines that have had a weird problem that I hadn't come across before. Through trial & error I've managed to fix 99% of them.

I will say that with it being a rather thin cable, utmost care must be undertaken to find out where the problem is :D
