While searching the Mac app store for this weeks free download I came across a FREE app called CleanMyDrive that looks like it should take care of those nasty little mac droppings.

Do you know which files specifically it deletes? The iTunes page only mentions thumbs.db, which you can easily nuke with a short one-liner.

It seems to eliminate the ._ files as well as .spotlight and .fseventsd files. It leaves behind the .Trashes folder as well as the ._.Trashes file but as long as it removes the ._ file then it's doing exactly what I'd hoped it would. They're the ones that really seem to confuse the windows users.

Another nice feature is it will eject multiple partitions at the same time if you so desire.
