The MSI products come with a 3 year warranty.
The MSI HD6870 Hawk might not be factory overclocked as much as the Gigabyte/Asus cards, but it can most definitely be overclocked much further, except perhaps for the Gigabyte HD6870 SOC. Usually you'll be able to reach 1GHz core speed with the MSI HD6870 Hawk.

Well I decided to go with the Asus 6870 (Sorry Pada despite your MSI recommendation). Am so far pretty happy. Can run Bad Company 2 on DX11 and extreme full everything on 1600 resolution without so much as a stutter 
Portr8 is my name if you been playing lately maybe I actually managed to snipe you in the face this time 
Only thing is my PC is a bit noisier with the fans but doesn't bug me much. Perhaps much later in future will decide to crossfire the 6870 if worth it, although that 4x slot makes me wonder a bit.

Just an update guys.
I am running battlefield 3 on High everything with 16xMSAA on highest res and it runs like a movie, no lag whatsoever (well despite the server lag everyone complaining about)
So thanks again. Think I made a decent choice.

6870 is a good card but just don't think about doing CFx with it. Its got major micro stuttering issues.
But you buy a gpu that can power your monitor. So in the end of the day its your native resolution that counts. You don't want to overkill because you will have to limit your card with v-sync to keep it in sync with your LCD
