hi

basically want to run with either just for some basic URL filtering and other things my firewall needs a licence for

which one do you prefer ?

English support for IPCop in the forums is lacking these days but the URL Filter addon is simple to configure and use, you might want to check out IPFire which is similar.

PFsense - but that simply because I've used it extensively.

Haven't used IPCop at all.

what i would really love because i got no time is a GUI interface but we all know thats not going to happen

Not sure what you on about?

pfsense boots non-GUI which is nice because I like to load iptop or other things I like to keep an eye on there.
Use the above WebUI for everything else.

You only need to crack out the linux when you go really off script like hosting a Teamspeak server on it :P
