Hello. Which is better? GTX580 or GTX670? and also what will the power requirements be for either of them in SLI? A friend is going to buy a corsair TX850 psu but will it be enough in sli one day when he either gets a second 580 or 670. He will also be getting (roughly):
i7-3770
Z77 sabertooth
1xSSD
1XHDD
4x 4GB ddr3 1600 ram

And he will most likely be overclocking as well

Thanks

A quick google search resulted in
http://www.hwcompare.com/12523/geforce-gtx-580-vs-geforce-gtx-670/ and

As the two websites above show the 670 uses less power then the 580 both in SLI and single card configurations.

I have the Gigabyte GTX-670 and it is a awesome card, I would recommend it. As for the power supply I cannot comment as I have no SLI experience/knowledge.

GTX670 uses a good 100W less (sometimes more), and runs roughly 20% faster than a GTX580. The decision should be simple

SLI you're then looking around around 550W pre overclock, so 850 will be plently

The 670 is better. The TX850 is an awesome power supply. Should easily run two 670s.

GTX670 FTW...

It laughs at a 580:) why an i7 though? The 3570k is a awesome little processor if you don't have the need for hyper threading.
