Quick question about porting

Quick question..how much is it to port to Vodacom?How do i go about doing this?

(my reason for porting is to save one of my numbers lol 6mths vs 90days? do the maths)

Its free AKAIK. I would wait until the 17th of August if I was you as that is the date that the new subsidy and contract regulations come into play.

If its pre-paid then ignore this.

Thanks pope24,found something on Voda's site but its a pain to port unlike Cell c's way..still waiting for a pin code from Vodacom!!!

August 17 is an important date. On that day you may sign up for a contract of at least 3 months. That means you are not tied up to one network forever. Your may port, change and migrate every three months as you wish,. Furthermore, you can even upgrade or downgrade contracts without having to worry about costs.

I just want to see if the networks wont try to discriminate subscribers with shorter term contracts
